The York Road Runners Club, established in 1976, proudly manages, organizes, and directs the York White Rose Run. This race is put on by runners for runners and is geared to participants of all abilities and experience levels. It has much to offer, from a special course that runs through York City, to a great tech shirt for those who choose to purchase it, to a post-race party complete with great food, beer, and a band.
Information for 2022, the 45th Running
The race runs through the city for more than three miles (including Farquhar Park), crosses George St onto the new section of the Heritage Rail Trail, runs less than a mile to the turnaround, and finishes at the usual spot on Beaver St. The race start and venue will remain at the White Rose Bar and Grill.
You can be a VOLUNTEER. With the race running through the city, we need many volunteers, who will receive a race t-shirt exactly like the runners’ shirts, along with a good feeling that you are helping a good cause. All volunteers must register at runsignup.com/yorkwhiteroserun !
Community Focused
