Held on the 4th of July, this out and back course takes you from Springettsbury Park (directly beside the park) through residential neighborhoods and across a pedestrian-only footbridge out to the historic Shoe House overlooking Route 30 and back the same way you came. The course is gently rolling, although there are some sneaky-tough little climbs to navigate throughout!
This race starts and finished at the East Berlin Area Community Center. Much like the Shoe House race, this course features a rolling terrain through residential neighborhoods, complete with some more sneaky-tough little hills. Don’t let that description scare you… There have been plenty of great times run on this course!
This is York’s oldest running event. It’s AWESOME.
